#FreeGaza and #FreePalestine

Recently I came across devastating pictures where young innocent Palestinians were being killed. (If you have a strong stomach just go on Instagram and hashtag #freegaza or #freepalestine) Have you seen these pictures surfacing on your national or local news channels? The answer is probably, No! Finding out where Lebron James is going to play next seems to be what our media (the news) thinks we as people as more interested in rather than knowing what is happening in the Middle East. 

Palestine has No Navy, No Air Force, No Army....this is not war, this is genocide.

135 Palestinians have been killed and all of them were civilians.. NOT militants and to add salt to injury majority of those civilians that were killed were children.

Just like Nigeria's #BringBackourGirls campaign. The media waits for social networks such as Twitter, Instagram, Youtube and Google+ to become a trending social topic before it's on our newspapers and television screens. Why am I relying on Instagram to get information on worldly matters when there's CNN, MSNBC, FOX News and other big news chain outlets.

I'm not Muslim nor Jewish, I hold no affiliation with Israel or Palestine, but from human to human, what is being done is unfair, inhumane, and unjust. When will all life be precious?
