#BringBackOurGirls Nigerian girls abducted, yet to be found.

Protests across Nigeria have people wondering WHERE ARE OUR GIRLS? Over 200+ girls were abducted from their school dorm two weeks ago in Chibok, Borno State. No words have been said from the government and little mention of the incident has occurred in the media until now. It’s been said that the Islamist group Boko Haram are too blame for the kidnapping of these women, the frustration and anger of people around the world are overwhelming. These young women range from 16 to 18 years old and most of them were about to complete their final year exam.

·         Why haven’t we found these girls?

·         What is the government doing about this?

Rumors are surfacing that these women have been moved to other states and neighboring countries such as Chad and Cameroon and are being sold as slaves and made wives to some of the militants. In a May 2013 video Abukar Sheku, Boko Haram leader threatened to treat captured women and girls as slaves. Could this be the threat coming to reality?

This is a sad and disgusting situation. Not too long ago there was a bomb blast in Abuja at the Nyanya Motor Park and now this. It doesn’t look like the government is taking the necessary steps needed to solve this terror in the country. Protestors are demanding the government negotiate with the kidnappers to release the girls, news of what is being done has yet to be released.

My prayer goes out to the women and their families.

Please make it your mission as I have made it mine to spread the word about this issue and tell the government of Nigeria, we will not stop until we have answers and your sisters and daughters COME HOME!
